Senior Metascience Fellow

Dan Turner-Evans is a senior metascience research fellow at IFP.

Dan previously served as a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow on the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy & Water Development and was an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he ran a neuroscience research lab. He has a PhD in Applied Physics from Caltech and performed postdoctoral research at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Janelia Research Campus. His scientific work has been cited over 7000 times, led to two patents, and been featured on the front page of the New York Times Science section.
