Rohan Aras

Rohan Aras is a Senior Transportation Policy Analyst at the Niskanen Center.

He focuses on using urban transportation to improve social outcomes, with emphasis on housing abundance. Previously, he worked as a data scientist at the Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Laboratory, where he performed and enabled data analyses for state and federal agencies. He received a B.S. in Informatics and B.A. in Math and Urban Planning from the University of Washington, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University.
