Jassi Pannu is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at IFP and a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University.

Jassi’s work focuses on policies and technologies that improve health and prevent disease. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as a consultant to the Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense, helping to draft The Apollo Program for Biodefense, a roadmap for investing in US capabilities to prevent and respond to future biological threats. Her work has been published in academic and press outlets such as Science, the New York Times and Time Magazine.

Jassi is a licensed physician and completed her M.D. and medical residency at the Stanford University School of Medicine. She is also a Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security.
