Philip Plotch
Dr. Philip Plotch conducts research at the Eno Center for Transportation, where he focuses on transit, transportation governance, and project delivery. He previously served as the director of World Trade Center Redevelopment and Special Projects at the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, where he helped lead the effort to rebuild Lower Manhattan after 9/11, and as manager of planning and policy at New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority. He is currently a research fellow at NYU's Marron Institute and the Vice Chair of Policy for the American Planning Association’s Transportation Planning Division. He is the author of three highly acclaimed books (Politics Across the Hudson, Last Subway, and Mobilizing the Metropolis)
