Todd previously served as the founding Chief Investment Officer for the CHIPS Program Office at the Department of Commerce, as well as the Program Director for ARPA Funds at the Economic Development Administration.

Todd Fisher is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at IFP and a Research Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Prior to joining the Commerce Department, Todd had a 30-year career in the investment industry, including 25 years at KKR, where he was a longstanding private equity partner and Chief Administrative Officer. He also spent 3 years as a Managing Director at Year Up, a workforce-oriented nonprofit.

Todd has a BA in Biology from Brown University, an MA in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School. He was a fellow at Harvard’s Advanced Leadership Initiative in 2018.
