Jason Liang is a Member of Technical Staff at NIST’s Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI) within the Department of Commerce, where he evaluates AI systems for national security risks in partnership with frontier AI developers and agencies across the US government.

Jason holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from MIT, and prior to joining CAISI he served as a tech policy fellow in the House of Representatives and was a staff product manager at Scale AI.
